What is the main purpose of Islam?
The main purpose of Islam is to unite humanity under the Tawhid (belief in one unseen Creator) and to guide people by truth and righteousness through His divine guidance, as revealed in the Qur’an and reflected in nature. Islam seeks to promote unity, justice, and compassion, while helping individuals and societies by avoiding divisions (caused by distored beliefs), misguidance, conflicts, and injustice.

What is the purpose of Humans life defined by Islam?
Life on earth is a designed test for everyone, where their all choices, actions, and responses to life’s situations are being recorded. It is about how sincerely a person recognizes and follows the truth, applies it in practice, and passes it on to others, regardless of whether they are Muslim or not.
Ultimately, after death, on the day of judgment, Creator will resurrect everyone for accountability, rewarding those who’s actions\intention was good for others and punishing those who was wrong for others, leading to an unimaginable and eternal life in the Hereafter.
1. How Quran described the Creation of Humans?
Quran described the two very strongest points of humans’ design with truth, for better understanding.
According to Quran (4:28), Human was created in a physically weaker body and in pair, But they were also given the power of speech for sharing and easiest survival as compared to other creatures on Earth.
Example: animals don’t need clothes, shoes for survival, but humans needs many things for survival. Also, human babies need more care for a longer time to grow.
| “We have certainly created man in the best form; Then We return him to the lowest of the low.” At-Tin (95:4–5)
| “He created man, [and] taught him speech.” Ar-Rahman (55:3–4)
| “And We created you in pairs.” An-Naba (78:8)
| “O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.” An-Nisa (4:1)
| “Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.” An-Nisa (4:28)
| “He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed—and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.” Al-Mulk (67:2)
2. How does this creation style make life a test?
Humans’ weak bodies created complex dependencies on each other for survival; they built civilization and tools to survive: clothes, homes, trades, and many other things etc. But their speaking power allowed discussions, teaching, and organizing their lifestyle with earth’s environment. So everyone’s Good and bad actions can be recorded for afterlife judgment.
| “You will surely be tested in your wealth and yourselves…” Al-Imran (3:186)
It can also be seen that every single creature on the earth has a familiar body according to its living environment without any essentials, but humans are not like them.
Important Question
If humans evolved only through natural processes as Darwin explained, it raises the question of why they became physically weaker instead of being more stronger, while at the same time developing advanced abilities like complex speech? And if creatures only learns from scenery then who taught humans all these things which does belong to other creatures on earth like making fire, cooking etc?

3. Population Growth, and Divine Guidance: Understanding Religion and Prophets
Humans live until death with reproductive bodies, like other creatures on earth. Over time, humans’ population grew and spread on earth; they developed multiple languages by observing & naming things differently at different locations with different symbolic writings, inventions, and social skills with sharing each other by speaking power. And keep sharing to the next generations.
Why Creator sent Prophets?
As the population growth didn’t only developed benefits but it also brings major social challenges, which leads different school of thoughts, confusions and which could caused conflicts then divisions then convert them to multiple groups (religions).
That’s why Islam don’t accept association with Creator, it is the main root of divisions, injustice.
In the solutions of these challenges and confusions, The Creator sent guidance through the chosen individuals (Prophets) in many nations to guide them toward truth and righteousness, Those instruction were compiled in the form of Holy Books.
Earlier Prophets also taught skills to survive, Like Prophet Idris (Enoch) is known for teaching sewing clothes, writing and some other skills to the people.
| “O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another…” Al-Hujurat (49:13)
| “And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors…” Ar-Rum (30:22)
| “Mankind was [of] one religion [community]. And Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Book in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed…” Al-Baqarah (2:213)
| “Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them — out of jealousy and animosity between themselves……” Aal-‘Imran (3:19)
